Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to
send your credit card information from your browser to our
web server. SSL sends your credit card number and other
sensitive information in an encrypted code that only our web
server can decode. SSL is a current standard for encrypting
data over the internet and Easterncorner Collection treats all
such information as confidential.
A good way to make sure your information is secure is to
turn on "Warnings" in your browser's preferences. Then, when
you send your order it will warn that you are about to submit
secured information. Also, if you look at our address, it points
to an https server (secure server).

Your credit card information is then verified by a credit card
payment processor to make sure that the name, address,
and credit card number are valid. Easterncorner Collection
keeps track of your name and address, but for security
purposes, you must enter your credit card number each time
you want to make a purchase. Our site can only provide
secure transactions when accessed with web browsers that
support SSL (e.g., current versions of Netscape Navigator
and Microsoft Internet Explorer). We suggest using a SSL
enabled browser when making any online purchases. You
should also ensure that your browser has SSL enabled under
the options menu.
