USES OF CHAIRS AND BAR STOOLS

Chairs and bar stools are basic furniture types that can be found in most homes. Their positions within the dining, living or sitting rooms vary according to the style and preference of home owner. A bar stool can have four legs and a cushion on top that provides extra comfort for sitting. It derives its name from its common use at the bar. The chair has a back and is generally a more comfortable sitting piece of furniture than the bar stool. Some chairs have arm rests and the most comfy ones are generally a great place to catch a nap!

CHARACTERISTICS OF GOOD CHAIRS AND STOOLS

Chairs and bar stools come in various shapes and designs. A good bar stool would have cross bars at the base of the stool which serves as a foot rest. Some stools have legs that can be tucked in under a shelf in the bar area or counter. Dining chairs are normally constructed from fabric (like a cloth or felt) and wooden materials. If you have a home bar for entertaining guests it is very aesthetically pleasing to have all your furniture matching. Leather material can be used to cover the bar stools with matching colors with other household upholstery. The leather keeps the cover looking crisp no matter the number of hours you spend sitting on it. However, chairs are more known to be convenient for relaxation than bar stools. Strategic placement of stools in a home makes them very beautiful to behold. Bar stools are much more easy to transport so in the event there are not enough seats in the living room the bar stools can be brought in to make up for more seats. An important thing to consider when purchasing a bar stool is the height of the stool, you want everyone to be able to get on and off of it with ease.

MAKING THE MOST OF CHAIRS AND STOOLS

It is nice to get stools with a space of about ten to thirteen inches between the bottoms of the table or bar and the top of the bar stool chair seat. Considering the number of stools that will be placed in the house, space availability is an important factor to consider. There must be an idea of a number of people you expect to entertain on a given family / friends night. The stool seats with wooden finish and acrylic finish are more common because you worry less about stains and spills. To keep the bar stools in shape for a long time adequate maintenance is needed. The stools with wooden surface must be wiped regularly. The fabric covered stools must be kept free from moist to avoid moulds growing on the chairs which can also dangerous to health. Bar stools vary in cost depending on the design and materials used. While you are decorating your home the place of bar stools cannot be left out to give the home the ultimate visually pleasing aesthetic touch!
