Aluminum Spiral Stairs,

The
primary reason for purchasing an aluminum spiral stair is for exterior
installations. Aluminum is a material that naturally will not rust;
therefore, it is an ideal material for an exterior stair. The photographs in
this web site show the stair in its natural, unfinished state. We want you
to see what the stair looks like before it is painted. |

Aluminum stairs can be
purchased two ways: primed or factory finished. The primed stair will need
to be painted on the job site. A factory-finished stair is available in
white, black and custom colors. The finishing process that we use is called
"powder coating". Powder coating is considered to be a very durable and high
quality finish. Custom color charts are available upon request.

Superior Design
. Notice
how the baluster travels through the corner of the tread to make a smooth
connection from the tread to the baluster.
. Notice that each baluster is connected to an upper and a lower tread. This
connection stiffens each tread and locks the entire stair together.
. Notice the connection between the baluster and the handrail. It is an
extremely smooth transition. This can only be achieved when each baluster is
mitered to the angle of the stair.
. Notice each tread has enclosed tread ends. This feature hides the assembly
hardware, continues the stairs clean lines and stiffens the tread.

. Stainless steel
hardware is supplied to prevent the hardware from rusting.
. All the welds are hidden under the stair which makes for sharp seams.

Heavy-duty Construction
. The treads and
platform are made of 3/16" thick aluminum. Choose between smooth or diamond
pattern treads.
. The handrail is 1 ½" round, which is larger than most.
. The balusters are 1" round, heavy wall tubing. Also larger than most.
. Platform and level railings are made of 1" x 1" heavy wall tubing. The
balusters are round to match the balusters on the stair. This railing is
heavier than most.
. The center column is 4" round with a ¼" wall thickness.
. The hardware to assemble the stair is stainless steel. |
